Now lilly can read books cover to cover in a short period of time and understand everything that has happened in the story. Reading is so much fun for Lilly, when she gets to choose what she reads. The most important thing for Lilly when choosing a book, it that there is some serious adventure involved. There has to be action and adventure around every page. Everyone has responsibilities in life and so does Lilly. This is why Lilly struggles to find time to just sit down and read, there just is not time in her day, during the school year. Often times, Lilly will focus on her school work during the year, then in the summer she will sit down and read as much as she can. Lilly loves to read, but only when she is able to choose the book. She cannot stand being told what to read, although she does take other's recommendations into mind. Lilly loves to write, especially free writing in class. However, she doesn't do much writing at home unless it's for her dream journal. Writing always came sort of naturally to Lilly. From a young age she was always a little ahead of the other students in her classes. When Lilly started to get older, she stopped writing as much as she used to, so she realized sometimes things that used to just click for her, don't anymore.
